Vintage Motorsport - The Journal of Motor Racing History Vintage Motorsport is the official publication of the Historic Motor Sports Association (www.hmsausa.com) and is a bimonthly publication out of the US. Slightly different from the more journal-like VJR, it also covers all aspects of vintage racing, from history to current racing circuits. Pretty good photography in every and an Annual that's got an incredible selection of photos from most of the major events in the US and some of the international events that feature vintage race cars. Each of the bimonthly issues runs to nearly 130 pages. Regular contributors include Peter Brock, Tony Dron, Burt Levy etc.
Mar/Apr 2005 - Editorial on the Chevy Small Block; Bury "BS" Levy writes about activities during a race weekend and how to entertain the family; Featured article is the Watson Leader Car Special; There's a nice feature on Bruce Miller's splendid garage; An in formative piece on the Warrior-Bristol by Bob Campbell that the previous owners as well as what's been going on in the present; Jay Miller visits Maranello's Gallaria Ferrari with his wife; Carl Goodwin's Think Pink on charismatic Donna Mae Mims' career; Carl follows the Think Pink article with one on Brynfan Tyddyn course (1952-1956) in a pretty thorough article; Burt Levy does his bit with the regular Where We Race column - with write ups on Infineon in Sonoma, CA. and Sebring International Raceway, Florida; There's a column on the auto auction scene; Plus the whole racing roundup by race meeting.
